Nissin laksa cup noodles is the go to comfort food for me. It was a "must have" item when I served national service, to feel less stressed in the camp. Now I will still eat it especially on rainy days.

A good Singapore cup noodle is the fish head curry. If you every see it, try it and let us know your thought.

How did I miss this? I just always say the same old adages, "It beats the alternative" and "Getting old is not for the weak." I just remember when I got my last drivers license renewal. They took my old license and gave me one with a picture of an old guy on it!

So neat you got to have authentic mul naengmyeon. Have you tried it with vinegar and their spicy mustard added? If not I suggest you try it mixed into the broth. That really punches up the flavors and is a very traditional way to serve it. 😊 Nice reviews of Korean foods.

I want to try the Laksa and Tom Yum flavors now! My favorite cup noodle flavor is chili tomato (Hikari Menraku brand specifically) and I've been enjoying a few of the soupless flavor options lately with the warm weather.

The Laksa and Tom yum flavors, is what I’m seeing now, but I haven’t tried it yet. Probably gonna buy it soon. Since I like to try some new ramen, but then again, my personal favorite is gonna be the Shoyu Ramen. Depending on the name brand of course, since I don’t mind buying the Nissin version now on the Shoyu version. The Tonkashu flavor is good too.

In Greece when we say butter we actually mean margarine. We prefer margarine to butter because is lighter.

In California our Nissin cup noodles had meaty bit and a lot more toppings years ago but tasted of styrofoam. Now it tastes much better but doesn’t have the “meat” and there are very few toppings of any kind.

Nissin makes a line of "premium" ramen flavors here in the U.S. called "Roah" that I very much enjoy. I wonder if they are also available in Japan? And if you've tried them, how do they compare to other varieties of instant noodles available in Japan? We don't have many premium options in the U.S. to compare to.
